As April comes to a close, it’s always helpful to keep the spring cleaning and rejuvenation theme going strong as we head into May. Being motivated to get rid of the old and welcome the new is always uplifting and reinforces making positive changes in our lives. Nothing is more liberating than dumping the old and toxic junk in our world and making room for the fresh and paydayadvanceusca.com/ new!
But why stop with just cleaning out our closets and organizing our drawers when it comes to spring cleaning? What if you took it a step farther and made springtime a time for big changes? Take yourself out of your comfort zone and the tried and the true and be bold instead! Sounds fun, doesn’t it?
About this time last year, I let myself be spontaneous and I turned a routine hair trim into an eight inch hair chop that had me in the shortest cut I have had since sometime in the last century. I didn’t even have a style picked out, I just buried my head in a magazine and put all
my trust into the stylist and told her I wanted change and I wanted it to be above my shoulders. When I looked up, not only was my change barely under my ears, but this new change wouldn’t even allow me to put my hair in a ponytail, which is the preferred hair uniform of most walking/biking/gym and yoga class going devotees around the world, including myself. I would have to wear my hair free and as a result, much more carefree all of the time now!
Carefree…wow! That is a word that would not readily come to mind to describe me or my life right now as a middle-aged working mom of a teenager and a tween living in between two cities. But, here was payday loans online one little change that made me feel lighter, younger, liberated, and rejuvenated. It wasn’t the actual haircut that made me feel all those things, it was more that I took a chance, tried something new, that I made a spontaneous choice, that I didn’t need to
define myself with something as seemingly irrelevant as my hairstyle. I’m not giving up on vanity, but rather saying to the world same day payday loans that I’m gutsy and capable of change and transformation. It was empowering and it felt good!
So, one year later my hair is still short, but above my shoulders short where it’s the easiest to manage and feels the best. Having short hair has now even become popular as starlets like Jennifer Lawrence have gone cropped, but I’m just more payday loans las vegas lazy than I am cutting-edge. I can’t imagine going back to long payday 2 wiki hair anymore because I love how I don’t have to spend much time styling it. Which has me thinking first, why would anyone ever want to have hair payday advance extensions and deal with more hair to take care of and second, what if I never went for it and let myself try something new? Hmmm….what
other areas of my life should I be open to change in?
